On my browser shadows looks weird, similar to TV snow.

Hi
I've followed with interest your project. I think that now the bigget two points to resolve are a correct collision detection with camera, objects and a correct portal rendering. I've played a little with your source code, and I resolved some cases but all. I think that something more general must be implemented (not like me that I tried to fix single situations ). Maybe continous collision detection or similar.
Really nice shadows I've noticed a framerate drop on browser, didn't tried yet on native EXE.

Really impressive job

I have same issue as Kenobi.

Also the web version is incredibly slow for me, even though at the beginning of this thread it worked flawless. Not sure if it's because of the browser, or because of new features.

EDIT: The OpenLara alpha 1 (20161126) .exe works well for me.

That's strange, the shadows look absolutely gorgeous to me on the browser version.
Using firefox on windows 10 68bit btw.

Wink

It may depend upon driver support. It happens that some drivers are not OpenGL full compatible (for example standard Windows drivers).
I've a PC with a Intel HD4600 with Intel drivers installed and it performs well, just a little slow.

Ah, oh yeah. It happens to me as well. Just disable Avast for 10 minutes and unpack the archive. After unpacking Avast will suddenly decide that the unpacked folder is safe.
