This hasn't always been the case though has it? I hadn't even heard of the golds until after joining this forum and hearing other people mention them.

No, those ports are all fanmade. The TLA one is fairly recent even.

I thought so, thanks for clarifying. I didn't have any opportunity to play them until the ports came into play, and I wasn't aware of the ports until recently, so that's why I haven't yet played them.

I can't help but ask why you will never play on PC?

I was raised with consoles, and so the PC is out of my comfort zone as far as gaming is concerned. I didn't even use a computer frequently until I was 16.

There really is no difference if you can set up a USB controller!

You are sadly missing out on alot of official TR content by not wanting to jump ship I was the same as you many moons ago...I'm glad I learnt better was very intimidated by the thought of keyboard classic TR controls but they're all very conveniently located imo. Regardless, USB controller is ofcourse, the best bet to keep it as console feeling as youd like it to be.

It's just.. it's not worth being a console only TR player. The franchise is so large! The gold ports, time exclusive, trle custom levels omg!!

I have a PS3 controller which I think has a USB plug-in thing. Will that work on a PC? The golds are something that I would like to be able to play. I could even do Blind LPs for them since I haven't yet played them.
