Synopsis:
Shortly after the young Lara Croft is disowned by her parents, she receives an invitation to a Halloween tea party. A mysterious woman called Beatrice is hosting a contest: the winner inherits her mansion along with her family's entire wealth. Lara thought it was too good to be true, but she had nothing to lose and decided to check it out anyway. Upon her arrival, the other guests suddenly disappear into thin air! Lara wakes up all alone in the front yard. Will she be able to conquer the mansion and its riddles, or will she succumb to the sinister beings inside?

About this project:
This project has been reworked so many times already since I've started it in 2014. It was originally meant to be a sequel to my other mansion level, but instead I have reworked it from scratch in 2016 with a fresh story that has nothing to do with my old level. This will be the final multi-level adventure I will build in TRNG before moving on to TombEngine.

What to expect:
Lots of puzzles and platforming, with very little focus on combat (but it's still there, I just tried to make it more interesting with the bossfights). More than anything, it will be very story-driven with nearly 20 minutes worth of cutscenes, and on top of that: EIGHT different endings depending on how you proceed in the game. In the adventure, Lara will find pieces of information that can give context for puzzles and even understand the origins of this mysterious place. Due to this being my last big work in TRNG, I have taken a very experimental approach towards the difficulty by including very out-of-the-box ideas with almost everything. This means that this adventure will not be aimed towards anything less than a skilled player.

what did I just watch.

It's giving me a mix between Alice Madness returns and RE Code Veronica.

The concept is awesome. The trailer and the voice acting is really well done!

Hiw did you hide this for so long? Sure you showed a few screenshots here and there but this sounds way cooler than I thought before!

When the trailer says "this Halloween"... does it mean we can expect it for real world Halloween 2022?
