Oh. I'm sad to hear that. Wouldn't have thought they were all that expensive.

Me too. Way to get our hopes up.

If they would ever create a sequel, I hope they keep the same art style and gameplay. Different location, new enemies and new puzzles obviously.

I'm kinda glad they chose to do that rather than make sequels with microtransactions. The fact that they didn't implement them in the first game is actually pretty surprising, considering that stuff was trendy even back then. They didn't even make you pay for the extra costumes.

It's a really good showing on SE's part, and it shows in the quality of the game. LC:GO is a masterpiece.

It's still a shame, though. They could perhaps upgrade the Go games from mobile to small digital-exclusive games. Especially Lara Croft Go, as the game was already widescreen only and it was just plain gorgeous.

It's sad to hear there won't be more LC:GO games. However, I would like it if they would copy the Go formula somewhat for the main AAA titles - as in, a quiet Lara, who barely speaks and is devoid of personality/an enigma... and puzzles that are similar to the GO-style grid/block/switch system that is reminiscent of the classic games. Of course, they'd never do such a thing because they want explosions and a protagonist who cries about an emotional investment at every turn.

Why would they write Lara with no personality for a main entry and how's that good? That'd be a suicide.

Exactly. Even Classic Lara had a personality, she wasnít silent at all. And explosive setpieces were happening around her.
