In regards to controls, I was talking about what people wanted for a more vanilla AoD experience in the TR:AoD Rescued thread the other day

I'm not sure if Nakamichi still works on his patches/fixes (I'm pretty sure he mentioned about a year ago that he had to quit modding, but things may have changed since then), but just wanted to say that there's still one small issue with the Galleries Under Siege level. The X-Ray machine has an opaque glass in PC version, which makes it impossible to see geometry under it*. This issue is not present on PS2. While it doesn't make a huge difference in vanilla TRAOD, reborninshadows managed to enable X-Ray machine functionality, so if a mod is ever created to make it fully functional again, the glass might take away the experience.

We were actually able to fix this in our mod since Nakamichi released all of his tools . Texture modifications aren't very hard to do anymore with his TRAOD Texture Manager tool.

Cool Update regarding combat system

Few months ago I've released an experimental mod which disables combat camera:

Omg!!!!! This is huge!!!! Thanks so much! Can't test it right now but this is such good news for this game

I'm keeping a note of fixes/improvements shared by nakamichi680 which is done by hex editing, just to check if this is everything so far:
  • Disable camera lock during combat.
  • To switch targets press any key which is not already mapped to another function.
  • Disable the small hop sideway veering.
