Probably accurate, yeah. It would have been good if when Bartoli stabs himself in the Temple of Xian with it, a blue light emits all around and we see the temple transform into the Floating Islands.

Really just theorizing here. Peter Barnard (the TR2 FMV artist/animator) would definitely have an answer. If anyone would know how to contact him I wouldn't mind asking |

Re: The Opening FMV, maybe I'm just being thoughtless, but I always kind of handwaved it as "magic is bloody dangerous". I mean, the Scion somehow alters creatures' DNA, the Infada Stone (sp?) seems to emit some kind of psychic radiation that drives people mad...I think the Dagger has a similar kind of destructive energy/aura that just...even if you're "doing the right thing", it'll still eff you up. Hence why the best person to have many of these objects is an adrenaline junkie with zero interest in the godlike powers they possess. |

I agree with SrDanielPonces regarding TRA. The design of levels in Anniversary doesn't shine like in TR1. The atmosphere is dull too.

The controls in Anniversary was probably the game's biggest downfall, in my opinion. I remember having a lot of inaccuracies with my jumping and running. I recall having particular difficult with the swinging and running along walls, etc.

The grapple was an absolute disgrace. Traversing up the tower at the end was painful. Also, frustrating because it wasn't the players fault but poor game design.
