Default TR4 custom game problem (new gen)

Edit: Now sorted... I downloaded a game from TRLE net and trying to run it on my WinXP computer, and I have a warning sign saying 'tomb4.exe unable to locate component', and game will not start.

It says unable to start as MSVCR100.dll was not found.

I have now downloaded MSVCR100.dll separately from a website, but not sure where to locate it in the computer to get the game running, is it in game folder or somewhere in windows? Thanks.

This seems to happen on some TR4 new gen games, all other TR4 custom games are OK.

Delete that dll file. Don't download random dll files from the internet, it's risky.

I did some research and it seems that this file you are missing is a part of a C++ library.

msvcr100.dll is a part of Microsoft Visual C++ and is required to run programs developed with Visual C++.
Install this, it's from microsoft's own website.

Most of these runtime files are needed to run levels that use TRNG Plugins.
