Calling Chronicles “dull and without new ideas” is so ridiculous when the prior games only evolved in gameplay, graphics and the NPCs having a few more lines. Chronicles had new ideas considering it was pushing PS1’s limits, it was polished and overall an enjoyable experience. Isn’t that what we all want from a good game?

I just love that Irish Island level with young Lara, with all those imps, demons and strange creatures stuck on an island

What made the challenge more exciting was that Young lara had no guns and had to use her wits (or our wits) to get through the level. The atmosphere and spookiness of the storyline, the scenery and music just completed making the level one of my favorites.

I also loved the rest of the game, with its different stories of Lara's life.

Same, it's my favourite part of TR:Chronicles. Love the spooky enemies, especially that weird sea creature. Rome is also great, but it starts a bit slow, in my opinion. I like the latter parts in Rome - the fight with that massive laser head and the Roman statue and, of course, that cutscene between Lara and Pierre. The VCI levels are my least favourite - they're not bad, it's just that they feel a bit too Mission: Impossible-esque for my taste.

I kinda enjoyed killing those bald terminator guys in this game.

I agree, the child Lara levels were awesome and were much better than the ones in TR 4.(Which were tutorial levels)

I have just re-played 'Chronicles' on PS1 and completed it in 04.29.03 with 36 of 36 Secrets and I thoroughly enjoyed it I have also noticed that VCI on the PC is more buggy that on PS1.

Escape With The Iris on PS1 has some dialogue which is missing on the PC version when Lara opens the door of the lift Zip says to her 'Close the doors', 'close the doors' and those Medipacks can be obtained on the PS1 as its possible to have the HK Gun for the entire level if you use the All Weapons cheat.

well i think you shuold lower your expectations and hype because tra2 is a very old project im not into for a few years already
