TR4 camera has different calculations on how to follow Lara, as noted, rolling is an obvious example! Also the camera in TR4 is a lot higher, you can see the difference if you switch the camera standing still. When switching to TR4 you can see the camera goes higher (looks more “down” on lara, to be exact) and yes, indeed the fixes in TR5 are nice, especially the camera around corners. Perhaps in the future we can have an “improved TR4” camera with a couple of these fixes

Hopefully TR5 will now run on modern PCs with this, I outright gave up on this and TR1 since neither game worked on my PC no matter what, and both of them also did not work with a controller, which is crucial to me (Given I came from the PS1 originals)

Chronicles was so broken that it was just plain a better idea to play it on a PS1 emulator, even with the Red Alert bugs. Now I might be able to actually play it on PC

^ Try TOMBATI. It's the easiest way to make TR1 work practically out of the box.

Not for me, it breaks and becomes unresponsive if I tab out of the game, and it doesnt support my controller properly. Tomb1 Main is a thing now anyway

Currently playing through the PS1 original on the Duckstation emulator, as the PS1 version also has Unfinished Business these days

Amazing work, Woops TRC really deserves such "definitive edition" treatment and I hope we will see such improvements and additions in previous games - especially TR3 and TR4. TR2 is already done, thanks to Arsunt and his patch.

I don't know if it was already mentioned, but I noticed that duckroll animation doesn't work in VCI levels - Lara just slides on the floor in her standard, duck position.

I have the same bug in VCI levels.

Hey everyone, hey Woops! First of all thank you so much for all your work for Tomb5, it's incredible what you guys did.

Installation was pretty easy and gameplay works fine, I just keep having one problem: every FMV (and already by starting the game with the Eidos and Core logos) somehow causes my game to switch back to desktop after 2 seconds. This does not happen when I play. Any idea how I can fix this?

hi, this only affects 13th floor, and it's because the animation is missing. since it's the only level with the missing animation, we decided to just keep it as is it's just a cosmetic bug, harmless otherwise

hi, this is "normal" behavior for TR5 that we haven't fixed yet, I personally disable the FMVs to avoid this problem, but some people have mentioned that using dgvoodoo2 fixes it let me know what works for you.

Just some very late feedback, so it's probably already known. It seems like some of the lighting issues where Lara sort of flashes(though not as brightly) don't appear to be entirely fixed, just bandaged. I wonder if it's actually an issue with the level files themselves...

hi can you tell me where it happens still? I remember one common place was at the beginning of Trajan's Markets, and I mainly tested there.
