been played on the big screen by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander and now Lara Croft is coming to London as the star of the capital’s next big immersive experience.

A 30,000 square foot site in Camden’s Stables Market will be transformed for Tomb Raider: The Live Experience complete with thick jungle, a treacherous ancient tomb and a sinking ship bringing to life the world of the computer game turned film franchise.

Teams of up to eight people will be able to join the actress playing Croft in the live adventure which is due to open on April 1.

It is the creation of actor Tom Lionetti-Maguire, whose firm Little Lion Entertainment previously set up the live action version of cult TV show the Crystal Maze.

He said the show was “a game changer for live experiences”, adding: “Not only will people be whisked into a fantasy narrative on this journey, but they will find surprises, adventure and wonderment around every trap—laden corner.

It's funny that the concept has young children despite the series now being 18+.

I kinda wish the concept was more about successfully retrieving an artifact rather than saving the world, but hey ho.

Maybe a placeholder date for the internal system or something? the Barbie Dreamhouse AIRBNB in California got a similar placeholder date months before it launched open

This is like an ongoing thing not just for one year? If I could afford it, I'd definitely go. But I can't. So, the tours are going to have actresses as Lara as the tour guides? Bringing back Lara models in a slightly different way. Cool.
