Somehow, seeing SE/CD/EM somehow involved in the movie's production (at least on a "we communicate to each other and allow the game's publisher to confirm news about the movie") always gives me a good feeling. Even if the movie does its own thing, at least there is proof of communication between the two sides of the franchise and that is always good.

Iím 99% sure Iíve made this same post before, but for some reason, it still feels so surreal that a sequel is happening with Alicia and all. I cannot wait

If they're wise they'll crank up the nostalgia factor in their marketing campaign and mention that it's the 25th anniversary.

I hope they don't try to portray Alicia as Angelina Lara...

Yeah I'd be surprised if they didn't. I figured they'd go for a 2021 release date if they made a sequel.

If SE is smart, they'll also release a classics remastered that year

They need to look at the comics for inspiration on her character. I'm hoping they expand more on her adrenaline junkie side.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Core Lara obviously is the OG, but Top Cow Lara is the most well rounded, defined and written version of the character tbh.

I am so glad this is happening! I wonder if CD/SE are just formally announcing the movie and promoting it or if they are actively involved as well?

Imagine if Keeley Hawes was in it. That would be so surreal.
