Streets of Rage was one of my favourite 16 bit series and probably my most player along with Sonic.
I had a funny feeling that sooner or later we would be getting a sequel, seeing as how so many classic series are being revived these days....and voila! |

I wonder if it'll be a next-gen title. With it being announced this late in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a PS5/Xbox Next launch title, though the Switch's portability makes it perfect for beat-em-ups, so who knows?

Wow, about a 2 year bump. Anyway, for those who are interested in Streets of Rage 4, Limited Run Games are doing a standard edition and a classic edition for both PS4 and Switch. The standard is just the game and the classic comes with a steel book case and a Mega Drive/Genesis style box that can hold both the game box and steel book. Also, they'll be announcing a limited edition but no info about it has been said yet.
