Same. I’d love for a “definitive” edition of a single Harry Potter game, which would spawn from Philosopher’s Stone to Deathly Hallows, and which would be as big in scope as HL

Okay that's hot. Now I wish they'd make that too!

If they do, they can leave 4-onwards in the past. Those games weren't nearly as enjoyable IMO. There was something special about the original trilogy that made them feel unique and special while the rest were more like soulless cash-grab adaptations of the films.

Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix were tons of fun. I haven't played 3, 6, 7 but I definitely prefer 4 and 5 over 1 and 2.

Order of the Phoenix was kinda fun as you could explore the castle from the movies but there wasn’t much to do. From what I remember most of the game was looking for the DA members. Goblet of Fire was awful.

Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets on the PS1 had such an uneasy atmosphere or is it just me

When I say I’d like all games in one, I mean I’d like a single game made from scratch untied to the older ones.

Competely remade in the likes of Hogwarts Legacy with the huge map with hogsmeade, etc., and it would be a seamless progression. You’d start in Philssopher’s Stone, gomto classes, lesrn basic spells (like in PS1 game), progress the plot, finish it, then go to London by the end of the year, then Chamber Happens, etc. - all made from scratch

I know this would be too big of a project most likely, but tbh most of the assets and scenery would be reused since it’s the same school and general locations for most of the years

I haven’t played them, but aren’t the Lego games made like that? Like a single game covers year 1 - 4 I think

Yes, there's 2 Lego HP games years 1-4 and then 5-7.

They all use the same Hogwarts and outskirts, places in the universe.

They're great games btw, I really recommend them. Lots to do and lots of attention to detail that despite them being lego games, make them genuinely feel like you're in the HP universe and moving through the stories from year 1 right through to the end.

No hud gameplay presentation = massive handholding UI hell at best, scam at worst

A new trailer that shows off some cool PS5 control tricks.

I actually want to play this. The last Harry Potter game I played was on PS1 and I had no idea as to what I was doing lol.
