Default The Lost Artifact Developer Stream

Phil Campbell (lead designer, levels), Rebecca Shearin (texture artists) and Gary Larochelle (designer) got together with me to play Tomb Raider 3: The Lost Artifact.

They gave plenty of brand-new trivia about the game, easter eggs and how it was produced.

Aw man, those cutscenes sounded great and would have fleshed out what is already my favorite game in the series!

Interesting that the designer said the castle was going to be set in Northern Ireland, but eventually it was changed to Scotland.

I am glad it was, so that we got 'Nessie the Loch Ness monster' in on the action

Would not have been the same without her

Very cool! I really need to get around to playing TLA. I'll have to get my hands on it somehow since Square does not provide a way to get it lol.

Have to agree with you Patrick.

I must have played TLA many times, my favorite though is Scotland with the monster, just for the pure atmosphere, and...

Spoiler alert...
as some exterior scenes seem to be a real monster across the loch and other areas you find a man made craft made up to look like the monster. What a brilliant storyline....

Eidos San Francisco really understood TR. It would have been great if they got TR instead of CD - they would have actually respected the source material.
