This game's art direction is an absolute mess.

The main protagonist is ugly as hell.
They need to stop making women ugly in video games. |

I have played a bit of the demo. Yesterday I played 20 minutes and put it down. And I give it another chance today but I could not last more than 1 hour.
The gameplay feels clunky and not fluid at all. For something that rates your combat encounters like a DMC or a Bayonetta game it does not do the job properly. Visually the combat looks great. But switching spells is a pain in the ass. The lock on is a mess. Camera control is horible. Dodging looks cool but after doing it I could not tell for few seconds if the enemy is behind or to my side. Lucky the fodder enemies are not very smart. The parkour is great. The graphics are beautiful. I was excited for this game. Not anymore. They need to fix the controls for the combat. Maybe I will give it a new try and try to remap the buttons( I actually thought of that as I was writing this) Another minus would be that you can run away from every combat encounter. You can even teleport during combat, craft healing items and get back to continue from where you left off. |

I was pretty excited for this game but the demo was quite disappointing. Combat seemed much cooler in trailers but it is very clunky and the open world is just empty (at least in the demo) like a lot of other AAA games.
Also they somehow managed to add in the cringiest "banter" ever in any game I've seen. Thank god you can turn it off from the settings. |

Watched the demo. The trailers made the game look promising, but wow, that was... disappointingly bland.
