Question Is It Possible For Me To Record My Laptop?

There are some online games that I'd like to record myself playing so that I can upload videos of them onto YouTube. When I recorded myself playing games on various videogame consoles, I was able to record myself with a Capture Card. However, this time around I need to record my laptop; I need to record what's on my laptop screen. How can I go about this?

OBS Studio

Most content creators use this, it's free also.

Windows 10 also has its own recorded embedded into the OS. Bring up the XBox Game Bar by pressing Win+G, and you should get the overlay appearing on your screen, with several options including recording.
OBS is also widely used, but although I haven't used it much myself, it's a bit of a hassle to set up correctly. But if I'm not mistaken it's quite a powerful tool, and people also use it for streaming.

Did you manage to get it working or do you need more assistance with this?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I ended up going with what Joey79100 recommended.

I tried this out and it seems to do the job very nicely. Thank you for informing me of this.
