If you search for level name "one room challenge" on trle.net, you'll get all the ORC levels made so far.
These are ofcourse the compiled levels and not the prj and wads so I'm not sure if playing the levels is what you mean by examples.

I may perhaps be interested in joining, but I am not sure what my theme would be.

I'll theme it around Great Zimbabwe

Well I guess I can't really use dxtre3d because the maximum height of one room in that editor is only 5 blocks...

Exclamation Dxtre3d

I have a question, can Dxtre3d builders participate? Maybe the answer is obvious but I had to ask.. It's a very different editor, plus you can only make non-TR4 levels..

It's sad that there aren't any competitions on which we can participate

The first post stipulates that Dxtre3D is fine. Every level will be released as a standalone game so it doesn't really matter which editor you use so long as you abide by the one room restriction.

Still, rooms can be made only 5 blocks tall in our editor. I think that's a big problem... at least for a majority of level concepts

I really appreciate the suggestions! It seems there are so many examples of how to handle the one room challenge! I'm still not absolutely sure if I fully understand the rules though.

Based on what I've seen, I think it's safe to assume that it's not limited by the TRLE "room units", but instead by single central room structures with a lot of vertical height to make up for the lack of ground coverage?

I apologize, I just want to be sure I fully understand the rules before jumping into anything.
