Since when is there a "script for the animations from the package in NG_Center "? Everything needs to be scripted manually. NG-Center does not have ready-to-use scripts. @ Nina Croft: You need to use the Animation= script command. You can already find a couple of examples, including the ledge-jumps, in our tutorials section. Check the INDEX thread there. The third post contains the list of TRNG related tutorials. The one about animation scripting is in there. |

- how do I set up a non-title game folder, I only want a single, static background image with the levels I made after starting TR4.exe?
-still having problems changing the complete font, I tried this, but no real success .. ( after patching/recompling/ re-doing the script with NG_Center the Title font is still transparent, only the option menue in-game is loading the font though) -how can Lara actually talk ? I mean, in game, hints, tips etc, when she finds something etc she talks..(I guess creating special audio files and then trigger it?) many thanks.. Last edited by Baddy82; 17-10-15 at 17:07. |

This Excel tutorial of mine helps you to choose the proper font.
http://www.tombraiderforums.com/show...highlight=text See Customize= CUST_BACKGROUND command for the static background. Last edited by AkyV; 17-10-15 at 18:43. |

There are people around here who can do voice-overs if you need custom lines for Lara instead of using ones from other TR games. |

thanks..I actually succeeded with this one..
looks much better with a proper font now.. hm, the CUST_BACKGROUND command..do I actually have to skip the title.TR4 when using a static BG pic ? I think title is rather modified but is needed to load.. Last edited by Baddy82; 18-10-15 at 12:20. |

The title.tr4 can't be skipped.
A trick I've used is to take a screenshot of something or use an image, and then cut it up into textures which I then applied to the wall of the room with the camera. (all this is in the title.tr4) So it all looks like a background image instead of the regular TR title. If the background should be from the game itself, you can also simply use a room from one of the levels and make the camera static. |

I´m not a pro with scripting .. I tried to build a new title.prj with cams but it always crashed, maybe of the cam loadings .. your MoA startup screen looks really nice for example, without cameras.. Last edited by Baddy82; 18-10-15 at 15:46. |

The MoA startup screen does have a camera, a flyby camera that does not move.
There always has to be a flyby camera sequence in the title.tr4, setup like it is supposed to be setup in the title (which is different from the setup of a flyby in a regular level because the "flyby" type trigger is used) You can check the original title prj to see how it is setup and which triggers are used. No scripting is needed, unless you need to change the load coordinates. |

so, I make a new title.prj room with a flyby cam with the parameters LoadCamera= 0,0,0,0,0,0,255 in the script to make it static?

LoadCamera= 0,0,0,0,0,0,255 has to do with what the camera shows when you go from the title to a level.
It has nothing to do with the flyby sequence. Btw, our tutorials section is your friend. There's an INDEX thread in there and if you browse through it you'll come across these: Load screen coordinates Flyby camera's - basics Flyby camera's - advanced |
