Is it possible to fix Lara's high pitched scream in this game? I heard that it was only suppose to be used for young Lara but it accidentally got used for the whole game. Also, maybe we could import the PS1 style spinning load circle and the PSX inventory screen for TR4 & 5. Another thing I noticed was that the FMV's now play in the correct 4:3 aspect ratio even when you play the game in a widescreen resolution which is awesome. I'd like it if black vertical bars could be applied to the load screens to keep them at the correct 4:3 aspect ratio too.

Troye I just wanted to share that I just finished a replay of TR5 with the latest update. It was so incredible. The added TR4 loading screens make it feel like a whole new experience. I also saved and reloaded as much as I wanted to in "Red Alert" and never encountered a single bug. Amazing experience.

I'm still having issues with the game
![]() @ATombRaiderFan I have a Radeon card and I found the scaling options but nothing worked, the cutscenes still play in a small square. No biggie I can still watch them like that or I can always watch them on youtube. My problem now is that the game crashes after the scene in The Base when Lara uses the claw thing to open the door. Is this a known bug/issue that it's supposed to be resolved with this patch or is it only me? I guess my system simply doesn't play nice with this game and this patch ![]() |

![]() This isn't a request so much as asking for my own personal vindication.. the bug in VCI where the cyborg gets stuck in the holes.. is that caused by saving and reloading when he's in the middle of jumping over? If so that might be an even harder fix than the elusive holster straps (Although if I had your talent the first thing I'd alter would be Lara's winter camo outfit holsters. In-game they look ridiculous)

Did you check the tomb5 options in-game? You can switch the option to skip cutscenes on or off (as well as all other features).

this is an issue with some cuts ending in really far away (wrong) cameras, the math involves a square root function that old programs use a different way than modern programs to get the values (modern is supposed to be more accurate). that camera results in 0 on original TR, but now when the relevant math was decompiled and implemented in the dll it gives a really long negative number, which crashes. will be fixed in next patch, for now skipping them is a workaround.
