Rush (2013)

I know next to nothing about Formula 1, and I don't really care much for the sport, but with Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl as the leading men of this biopic, I just had to watch it.

So going in with absolutely no prior knowledge of the events depicted and no expectations, I was positively surprised by how much I actually loved this movie. Chris and Daniel were excellent! Really strong performances from both of them.

Single White Female (1992)

Bit cheesy coz its old but such a good thriller/horror.

I miss that in movies today, the slow burn and build up which most would find boring as isn't full of CGI jumpscares etc

Shame that with the new Halloween, only Halloween One counts... 2 onwards don't :/

Watching the Final Destination series... on #2 so far.

Some freaky ****... to think some of it is real too.

A Wrinkle in Time, and Incredibles 2 on the flight home.

Two films I've been meaning to watch.

Watching the Terrifier movie I've heard about. I keep bracing myself for a scary moment, yet I've seen nothing but sick **** so far.

I will say this: it is a throwback to 80's horror films with the lighting and lettering in the opening credits.

I just watched Unfriended: Dark Web, movie was a POS. Once again, we have unlikable, annoying characters with useless drama. At least the first one had some semblance of character development, here, they're all there just for the sake of being there.

I didn't like the first one, either. I thought it was stupid how the "victim" who you're supposed to feel sorry for was a bully herself.

Supernatural, just started watching it since reboot Charmed was such a bust. Have to say wish I watched this show sooner, it's pretty great.

The first five eps of ..

The hype around how scary it supposedly is overblown way out of proportion. It really wasn't scary, at least this first half. What it was, though, was brilliantly acted, superbly written family drama all about traumas and demons from the past still haunting the characters into adulthood. I loved how each episode focused on each individual sibling of the family, and the ending of the fifth episode had me positively shook, so...right now I can't wait for the show to smooth into some proper crazy, proper horror territory.
