While weíre talking about hard-coded animations, is there a way to remove the animation of Lara walking towards an interactable object? (Pick-up, keyhole, artifact receptacle, switch) I had no luck.... >.<

And/or maybe also be able to choose the animations that play?
Those animations could have been good if they actually had transitions. They just reused the existing walk/sidestep animations without any transition, it's kinda cheap.

I liked the way it was in the TR4 Library demo, it was like TR I-III. I wonder why they added it at the last minute. Improvement?

Tomb Raidering, it is an improvement, because before Lara would teleport towards the object.

Meaning that, to make it less ugly, the tolerance (that is, the difference between the current position and the ideal position) has to be smaller.

The players have to align Lara more precisely, incurring in more time wasted and possibly more frustration.

Nevertheless,

On another matter, what are those "PLs" that you said?

Joey79100, thank you! And make sure the tomb4.exe that you are patching is already patched with Delete tomb4.exe unused resources and Extend Tomb4.exe size patches, otherwise crashes will happen.

Well, I actually like the animation (I sometimes try to emulate it while pressing the light-switch or opening a door ) but it feels abrupt sometimes. If I change the normal walk/side-step animations, does it change too? Something like AoD would work wonders...

After further investigation, I found that to change the low water landing animation and the push/pull ready frame number I would have to place patches near to 0x100D62D8 and 0x100D4DCF, respectively, which is impossible because these addresses do not belong to tomb4.exe, but to Tomb_NextGeneration.dll.

Tomb Raidering, probably, but

Do you play custom levels?

Yes I do, but I have never encountered one without it/with it altered...

They are the tools that will allow people to change the hardcoded alignment animations.

Do you want to learn how to use them?
