Do you have a picture? This sounds awesome.

Oh my word, that’s stunning! It looks natural, and it gives me TR4 vibes. Great work.

Thumbs up

^Exactly! It looks amazing!

So, I’ve reached the Cistern so far and everything works with no crashes (the only time it did it was because I had a fmv rpl file which was the wrong size, I used a backup and it works fine now). The bug in which I couldn’t reach the first secret in St Francis Folly is gone and I can now reach the ledge fine, FMVs play perfectly with no problems.

Now while jumping from a slope is fixed, a new problem has arisen regarding running jumps. Sometimes even lining a running jump up perfectly can cause Lara to miss grabbing a ledge or she may simply run off the edge. I have noticed Lara sinks in the ground slightly upon beginning the jump. Shimmying along slightly slanted ledges causes Lara’s shimmying animation to freeze, she can still shimmy but it looks rather strange.

Honestly though, these bugs are part of the process of creating a new engine for Tomb Raider and I know they’ll be fixed in time. I’m still enjoying OpenLara!

Sky looks awesome, I wouldn't mind HD models.

The work your doing with this is wonderful. Also are the ledge bugs in Egypt known? Specially in the last level of Egypt I had to banana jump around a wall because she couldn't grab the ledge. It's the room filled with water that leads to one of the anks needed to open the Sphinx.

That looks like something out of Lovecraft! Very creepy having so many at once.
