it is/was.
thing is, it's only the texs, not the whole game. user will still need to go and purchase TR2/3/5 to use it.

Mod or not, these were still made with the games assets IIRC. It wouldn't really surprise me if it was someone from Square that sent the DCMA complaint.

doesn't touch the data files.
->dumb texs with peixoto patch
->replaces via patch no touch to the game assets directly.

So you made the textures entirely yourself, or used free resources to make them? Didn't take the textures from the games and run them through waifu2x?

I'm glad that Square Enix takes the time to take down user-mods for their games that won't hurt their financial success in any way instead of making games.
I mean it's just upscaled textures (I don't want to make that sound disrespectful of your work) - not an exe, no level files, no nothing. Why is SE or one of their partners so aggressive when it comes to a bunch of pixels that are over 20 years old? I simply don't get it.

Quick Google search shows Lumen Database is a company that responds to legal claims from someone else. So it's probably Sqeenix telling them to take down the files.

Honestly it's so laughable that they respond to something like this that has zero effect on their bottom line, that they aren't even utilizing at all and which legally is almost out of print, yet they don't respond when Justin asks them if we can just download Lost Artifact for free.

There is a reason why people are so done with Sqeenix and this just adds to it more and more.
