Cheers.
Yes. But I'm absolutely am here to explain about all the key things about why EXACTLY did Crystal Dynamics have decided to remake TR1 from their own perspective of development. So therefore I'm absolutely here to learn exactly what the Tomb Raider franchise does represent about... I'm absolutely VERY SMART for what the Tomb Raider franchise represents about right now!! I hope you understand.

How do you know what 'their own perspective of development' is when you are not them? Nor have they talked about their own perspective specifically. Regardless, like people said, this thread is about 4K gaming of the Trilogy on the PS3 emulator, not about the reasons why TRA was created.

weird flex but ok.

Anyways, I've been playing around with Underworld and I've noticed something very interesting: some animated texture things (like smoke, etc) does get scaled with the FPS, and so does Lara's hair physics

I've recorded a lot and might upload a 40min video, so other people can get a glimpse about stability and performance. Shader caches in new areas have not been generated before, so it will be in action in the video too, just how fast it is. The video is cut of course, cause I've died so many times, and some parts I even forgot to record. Once it is uploaded on youtube I will link it in here.
EDIT: here it is

It's unlisted because it's a rough cut, but anyone who is interested here can watch it, and get a glimpse of RPCS3 performance. Note that RSX (GPU) utilization is almost always at 99%. It was rendered at 2K, but uploaded at 720P because of the length, and because I was recording in windowed mode to eliminate tearing.
Fast snow hitting the ground at 30:13 and faster smoke too at 30:25 because of FPS scaling. Also you can see Lara's hair is much more responsive to anything really.

It really doesn't even matter weather I'm in any part of the Tomb Raider franchise or not, it's about taking a look at both of the versions as how the story was made from their own perspective in comparison. The reason why that Crystal Dynamics have decided to remake TR1 from their own perspective of development was because they had to avoid a sign of imitation from how Core Design have developed their own version for their own story just as much as I see the obvious difference from Core Design's version to Crystal Dynamics perspective...

Bruh your opinion about the franchise is literally irrelevant here, this is about emulation not about which game is better.

Ok. But however it's all accurate for everything I said about the franchise. Now I'll stay on topic with this anyway. The resolution looks sharp from this emulator. But I know it will look a whole lot sharper on 8K in the near future sometime.

Absolutely not. Anyway, this resolution certainly looks sharp. But it will look sharper on 8K within the near future.
