Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but recently I've seen people here talking about Crystal saying there would be a male character returning to the franchise (though I'm not even sure if they really said that, I never saw anything about it, could someone link to their statement if possible?).

And in recent days, Kurtis' motion capture actor, Antony Royer, has been more active on Twitter and has been retweeting stuff about the anime. Maybe he's just looking forward to it but I'm actually thinking there's a possibility Kurtis could be in the anime too.

That would certainly be exciting. Dallas Dickinson recently revealed that Kurtis is his fav side character in the whole franchise.

I wonder if what they actually meant though is Zip, which we already saw in the trailer and stills.

Tomb Raider has such a rich library of side characters that could return. This is one of the things i am most excited about with the unification.

Everyone wanting Jonah to die, and I'm just here thinking to myself that would be so boring and predictable. Lara doesn't have to be a loner because she's the angel of death, enough of her friends have been killed at this point already.

I'd just rather he retire from adventuring with Lara because he's over that and knows Lara can handle herself. Let the man live his life in peace, drinking pina coladas at the beach with friendly strangers. I think narratively speaking him just thinking to himself he's too old for this **** now makes much more sense.

Can you blame them? We've been conditioned during the survivor era that Lara must have trauma in order to have character development.

That’s what I’m thinking, it seems the most logical and fitting progression to how she becomes a loner.

Is this a safe space to say Jonah...is hot? I would retire with him and even though its biologically impossible for me to have children we could still try.

He is a zesty bear and they made him and zip extra zesty in the anime.
