I really, really, REEEEEEALLY wish that Phil Campbell work on TR4 Gold for the next remastered games.

This is almost certain. In the Tomb of Ash livestream he clearly said that he has already created some levels for The Fountain of Youth, and other assets as well. I am sure that in TR4-6R we will see an expansion, hopefully of TR5.

I arrived at this post after a bit of googling while playing remastered. Still logging into here with a username from a past life
I totally agree that the quality of these levels is top notch. For me in the TR3 era the designers were on the top of their game. I don't care much for story or for ultra modern graphics but I a very fond of the puzzling and level design in T3 (for which the tank controls are essential as I see it). Also I like the atmosphere in particularly the UK levels like thames warf and highland fling. If I try to compare the joy I once had playing tr3 levels to visiting world renowned attractions swarming with tourists in my holidays I am afraid most of the latter lose out. |
