At least one grate in TR2 GM has been downgraded to 2D with U#4 (screenshot attached to the original post):

I found this in Ice palace after the dark pit. Its small bug but would be cool if be corrected also.

I still have to remind about these small things because i really wish they are corrected. Some textures in Tibet are not ordered :
Attachment 8818

It would be amazing if some of edges of unreachable mountains picks would be little rounded so we don't see its actually texture
Attachment 8819

We have 3d metal objects like that in other levels could be greate if they would be also 3d not sprite.
Attachment 8820

and Tibet could have more 3 d ladders especially in catacombs of talion and some cliable walls could be also 3d rocks
-------------------

All ladders should be 3D-ified:

Default The australian soldier

His dialogue in Coastal Village was always very random and sometimes you had to wait and run around the tree for a while before one of the many potential lines would play. There doesn't seem to be a particular trigger square in the area, otherwise someone would've already discovered it.

Like graphics settings.
One of reasons to include the old graphics is to allow the players to experience the games exactly the way they were when they came out (hence the 30 fps limit in classic mode). Then why didn’t they include the option to select bilinear filtering? It was available in the originals and could be added easily. Yet it wasn’t implemented in the last patch. it’s also possible that the developers intentionally don’t want to add it but I just can’t see why.

Then there’s the frame-pacing thing which I still need to understand if it’s an actual issue or not. I loaded up the originals and the framerate didn’t look much different from the remastered. Perhaps the stutters are only noticeable because of the switch from 60 to 30 FPS? It would be useful to hear the opinion of a developer about this
You pointed out exactly what I wanted to say

I don't understand either why they don't include the bilinear filtering for the old graphics.

I tried the solution from PCGamingWiki, but it's not very great

Quote:
Enable linear texture filtering in Original Graphics mode (Experimental)
Hex-edit tomb123.exe

1. Open tomb123.exe with a hex editor.
2. Search for 00 26 00 00.
3. Replace the 3rd and 4th hits with 01 26 00 00.
3. Save the change.

Notes:

Linear filtering has some issues with texture edges.

And yes, I agree that the issue with frame pacing is very annoying.

Here are some explanations of what the problem could be : https://illusion0001.com/patches/202...e-Framepacing/
