Hey @ashka I was watching some walkthrough videos of AoD today and after all these years
I noticed the lack of soundtrack in the Bio-Research Facility, Aquatic Research Area and the Vault of Trophies levels.

I checked the game's OST in case my brain was forgetting something but it goes from the Strahov Fortress to the Sanitarium and then to Boaz Returns.

It seems a bit odd that those levels have zero indication of having a soundtrack attached to them.
It would be great if you had any insight that you could share with us on that matter.

Am working on building my own expanded edition until TDAS is released, combining a gamerip, Abbey Road Sessions and the promo/collector's edition OST

From the Abbey Road Sessions

Darkened Season 1-1/2 - When Boaz changes into the flying monster.
Darkened Season 2-1/2 - At the beginning of the cutscene where Eckhardt kills Luddick. It plays when he feels up wall.
Darkened Season 3-1 - The cutscene where you meet Eckhardt in the Renne's Pawnshop
Darkened Season 3-2 -
Karel - Plays several times. First - in the cutscene of Lara chasing Kurtis, in some cutscenes with Proto, in the Boaz fight and in the last two boss fights.
Kurtis - Dance of the Lux Veritatis - I'm affraid it wasn't used anywhere in the game AFAIK
Looking Back - 1-1/2 -
Looking Back Again - When Kurtis nearly kisses Lara, then takes her painting and goes while pointing at her with his gun.
Reading the Ghost - When Kurtis molests Lara and she turns to see his face.
The Cold - When Lara arrives at the Monstrum Crimescene in Prague.
The Finding - In the cutscene at the Brother's Obscura chamber, before the fight.
The Moment 1/2 - No idea. It's not from the Tomb of Ancients, because it doesn't have right ending.
The One Mystery - When Kurtis locks Lara in the Bio-Dome.
The Sadness Within -
Time for Change - When Boaz kills Kurtis.
Twisted Strings 1/2 -


I hope someone can help me complete my set

I can think of two reasons:
1 - game design choice not to have any OST in those parts
2 - budget / time limit. Each minute of any music costs money (with TRDAS for example the cost was around 1k p/m if you factor in arranging, musicians, edit, mixing etc).

I shall ask Peter to confirm though.

I was hoping there would be some type of unfinished tracks or concepts for them that didn't make the cut because of time or budget constraints as you said.

I hope Peter is able to give a definite answer.

Just phoned mr P, my both points were correct though mostly this was down to point 1 (game design choice). They wanted music only in certain bits to make those bits more dramatic.

Just updating on Peter's health:

He's feeling much better! MRI is scheduled on 31st August.
We expect him to return to the studio on Monday 19th of August!

Ok Ash. Can some of the other TR4 and AOD soundtracks can get remastered/reimagined which are Mystery 3 & Twisted Strings 1 & 2 as well in ALL OF THE ALBUMS PHYSICALLY AND DIGITALLY?
