^ Week 3 had a boost from the Black Friday sales. Expect a huge fall next week data.

Yeah, for sure, it'll going down, but I would like it to stay around 100.000 like week 2.

I'm starting to think that RotTR will easily sell 1M copies at this point on Microsoft consoles. Hitting 1.5M copies doesn't sound like a stretch. That means when RotTR releases on all platforms, numbers can easily reach 5-6M copies.

Well, if they really release Rise in exact 12 months on PS4 then I guess that's impossible

Obviously, it depends on the circumstances of how it's released. I'm guessing it's gonna be basically the game with DLC's if it's any similar to Steam. There you get games with DLC's included most of the time if the game is not brand new or the DLC is not too huge. The pricing is also a key factor. But I honestly doubt a considerable percentage will say "nah **** this, I'm too offended" and just never get the game

But a considerable percentage might say "Nah, too many great new games to throw money on a year old port. I'll pick it up at bargain bin price sometime." As you said, it depends on how they market and release it. To me the single BEST thing they could do is move up the release date. Perhaps renegotiate the contract with MS or something. I'm convinced that if they announced that it was coming out in say July or August, many people would be so happy that all other considerations would go out the window and they'd pick it up Day 1 at full price, DLC or no.

I really doubt casuals truly care about stuff like this. Plus next year's lineup is not clear right now. Even at worst, in my opinion 5M is still plausible.

It's almost certain that holiday season next year will be full of new games, many of them no doubt blockbusters. Casual gamers would more tend toward those than ports of old games.

Woe betide them if they just put out the vanilla version at full price at that time...
