The easiest way to play these roms are via an Emulator. You should also be able to play them via homebrew on a PSP, or (following a very specific guide) burn them to CDs and run them on a modded PS1

Thanks for the advice. I assume things can’t be posted on a forum but is there any hints you can give me as to how I find the step by step guide. I’ve got the necessary files but don’t know how to open them and edit them. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

It depends how you're trying to run them!
If an Emulator, simply open the bin/cue files in it. For burning a disk- you won't get in any trouble for this as you're not pirating anything. Google search for a PS1 Disk burning guide. There will be many out there. It needs a certain disk type and writing speed etc.. to work properly. Don't forget you do need a modded ps1 to run it. |

Thanks again.
I have been trying to play them on my soft modded ps3. I get to the games menu but then I get a black screen when I try to play the game b122251 had on his notes that I needed to edit the files but this is what I don’t know how to do. If I play the bin cue files as they are will they work on a ps1 emulator? I am trying to complete TR1-5 on my ps3 at the moment and would would have loved to included the expansions. |
