One recent issue that's arisen is when I use the fullscreen border .bat file for TR4, TR2Main seems to not open. I know the .bat file is supposed to work across the classics, so I'm wondering if there's a fix I can do without uninstalling the .bat every time I want to play TR2.
Also, I'm running on a new PC and in the TR2Main installation process I got a fairly distracting DgVooDoo logo in the bottom right corner of my screen. Any idea how to disable it?

Be sure the exe files you launch are named correctly (tomb2.exe, tomb4.exe) as that's how the fix actually recognizes the programs to affect. Sometimes for example, custom level authors will rename their exe file for aesthetics - which is actually a bad idea for resulting players and their own personal settings. |

You disable the watermark in dgvoodoo's settings, or get rid of dgvoodoo altogether since you shouldn't need it for TR2main... unless you want something like anti aliasing.

Hi everyone! And thanks Arsunt for your work!
I just have a little problem with audio patch. When a sound is played, the soundtrack keeps playing. As an example : I start Lara's mansion, and get the greeting line from Lara, but it doesn't stop. After a few seconds, I get the line you're supposed to get when you fail the first jump, without even moving. And it keeps on playing. Same with music inside main levels. Am I the only one affected? I use a french audio track, but I don't think it matters? Thanks for your help! |

Hi there, awesome work, really enjoying it so far!
However, I have a small problem with the FMVs. They are played way too fast - but only the video. I can hear the audio like intended, but the video is playing at 2x or 4x speed. This means when the video is over, I have a black screen and the rest of the audio is still playing. I have no idea if this is caused by TR2Main as the FMVs don't play at all in the vanilla game. I'm using the Steam version and made sure that it's a clean copy, no additional mods or changes. I deleted all dll files in the main game folder before copying TR2Main. Any idea what could cause this? I searched for half an hour in this forum and Google, but nobody else seems to have this problem. Best regards NoisyFlake |

Another user did report having the same issue with custom FMV's (here), but no one had an answer.

Edit: That's weird. After starting the game a second time with the original FMVs, it's playing correctly. Huh. Last edited by NoisyFlake; 08-06-22 at 17:31. |
