Why Guardian of Light never made it to the PS4 is beyond me. It was such a good game.

I guess the Lara Croft games were too niche for a larger audience. I'd assume the games didn't make them enough money to keep them alive on modern generations.

I was hoping that once Square is out of the picture they'd reconsider porting them, but since they only announced Switch ports, I kinda lost hope.

I think that's the case yes, which is a shame because the Lara Croft games are pretty great, superior to LAU in my book due to their simple story, polishing and puzzles.
