What Tomb Raider did you like the most?

There have been several suggestions about how the future of Tomb Raider is going to look like in this subforum. But perhaps this could be narrowed down to "What Tomb Raider did you like the most?", and would you like to see another Tomb Raider of in the same style, or level design or remade.

Could you write your Tomb Raider title in your post. Explaining is optional. (Maybe a poll result is available somewhere)?

My favourite is Tomb Raider.

This thread almost looks like the eternal "which TR game is your favourite ?" but not really.
My response, I would actually love a blend of the best aspects of several games for the next one.
The original one as a template, the demanding nature of the classics, the responsiveness of the reboots with the move set of Underworld... More or less what I want without going into details.

TR3 is the best one. The Lost Artifact, if we're being specific, but TLA and the main game are parts of a whole to me.

It has always been TR3 for me. It's the ultimate TR experience and no game has copied that since besides maybe TR4.

Objectively, I think TR2 is the best TR game, but it took me a few years and replays to see this. If we are counting the Golds though I agree with Tomblover that Lost Artefact is the best - although I think it goes somewhat downhill once we get to the zoo level.

However, the thread asks which do I like the most. And oddly enough, while I acknowledge TR2 to be the best TR, my favorite and the one I love the most will always be TR4. I'm aware I have nostalgia and Egyptophile bias because of this, by TR4 will always embody all the main aspects a TR game should have.

I want the next game to be a mix of Rise/Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Underworld. It would be perfect for me.

I agree in regards specifically to classic Tomb Raider style, TR3 is the ultimate classic TR for sure
