I wouldn't mind Crystal to take inspiration on those two games alone. The item fetching and combination feature from TR4 and all the platforming moveset from TRU, this would be more than enough to makes me happy !

Classic: Tomb Raider 3.
LAU: - (these games aged like milk) Survivor: they're all very shallow but I'll say 2013, because it didn't require you to chase forgettable side content to get a complete package

Classics: Tomb Raider II
LAU: Anniversary Survivor: DLCs for Shadow. But if I had to pick a whole game I guess I'd go with 2013. |

AOD and Legend to me are similar in that they both have great stories but are not my favorite to play. This is why I'm very interested in these two games getting the remake treatment after TR1.
But my favorites to play are usually TR3, Anniversary, and GOL. And TR5 fascinates me to no end. Strange little game that always seems to capture my attention.

TR4 will always be my favorite, because I'm a Ancient Egypt obsessed person. TR1 and TR Anniversary are both on the second place for me. And generally I love both the classics (TR1 - TR5, TR AoD is not that bad in my opinion - though I'm not a big fan of it) and the LAU trilogy. I'm not the biggest reboots' fan, but I can see some of their good sides.

Top tier: Tomb Raider 1
Tomb Raider 2 Tomb Raider Legend Second tier: Tomb Raider 3 Tomb Raider Anniversary Rise of the Tomb Raider Shadow of the Tomb Raider Third tier: Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation Tomb Raider Underworld Tomb Raider (2013) Bottom tier: Tomb Raider Chronicles Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness ______ In terms of the spin-off games, I haven't played the handheld games but I enjoyed the three isometric puzzlers, Guardian of Light, Temple of Osiris and Lara Croft Go. Not sure which tier I'd place them in above, but they'd probably be in either the second or third. Last edited by Mr. Mr.; 21-02-23 at 13:50. |

I am so desperate to try out new TRU-ish moveset in the next Tomb Raider. I hope Lara has the same energy and revamped moveset inspired by Underworld. And yeah Item inventory from Classic TR should definitely return.
