^ That I can agree with. It would have been great if they kept the human enemy level the same but added gators, snakes, spiders, etc. I liked the non-enemy animals, like the monkeys and the capybara, but there should have been more enemies.

I know there is concern about Lara viciously killing endangered species, but I think they handled the jaguars well. It didn't seem like Lara was running around killing every jaguar she saw, it felt like she was defending herself from a couple of particularly dangerous ones who chose to hunt her down.

Can we have enemies like 4 at a time. I really hate the arena swarm type encounters.

Like in the forge, those nasty little foxes kept coming! Thank goodness I could skip the fighting by traversing upwards.

They're not foxes, I believe they're Maned Wolves. I like them, strangely, because I also find them annoying . I think when it comes to animal encounters, it would be best if you come across them more naturally in their natural habitat, rather than in an arena style, so you might come across one or two and not necessarily an entire pack. I didn't mind it for the first jaguar encounter as it introduced them and it's meant to be cinematic. I think it could work for supernatural enemies too. I found it creepy when you're approaching a tomb and I saw a yaaxil (sp), didn't know what it was or if I had to ready myself to fight. Such a great way to introduce them.

Oh woops. Not gonna lie, i was shocked when I saw them down there!

The textures and all seemed low quality compared to Rise's animals.

that would require a complete overhaul of the combat. it could have been fun with good old Lara, or something creative with the grappling hook, but as of now they would have needed to place hundreds of climbable trees to make things fair for the casual player.

The thing is that they could have used enemies other than humans that do not necessarily attack Lara to kill her, but probably keep her out of a certain tomb or protect something and they are not easily killed, so one way to put them down is set a big trap for them and lock them somewhere in a far away cave.

TR4 had similar stuff; they could have worked on such tactics and made things more interesting.

They did something similar to one of the tombs that included Piranhas and I was happy I hoped for more challenging stuff like that, but this team working on these games are so lazy coming up with cool ideas. They are trying too hard to make this bow look like something super iconic, as if it is only Lara who carries a bow these days, turning their head and closing their ears and eyes so they do not notice that almost all other games and movies have a bow too

it's bad when you see Just Cause being a thing for more than 10 years, and almost no one seems to be willing to take notes.

I really like the bow but I believe that in the next game it should be completely optional (like in RDR2, maybe useful for hunting, but that's it).

No more bow at all. It's starting to get played out and look silly. Give her the duals and less of an overload of weapons. Human enemies can stay. I don't mind swarms as long as her combat is redone to fit an action perspective. We can also diversify them too. No more undead armies. I want something freaky or skeletons again .
