Sorry, I meant a database/collection of the original resources, like the examples you posted.
All textures from the classics, as they were used in the game, are indeed still available on different sites.

Oh, I see! Well, no, not to my knowledge. I’ve collected a few if I happened to come across them on some site, and so have others, I would imagine. But I’m not aware of any concerted effort to collect them all in one place.
However, from my own texture-hoarding activities I got the impression that it’s only from TR3 onwards that Core availed themselves of prefab textures instead of making their own. First a few in TR3 (the two mud textures in Lara’s Mansion), then some more in TR4 (but pretty much limited to the Giza section, as I said above) and in TR5 (Russia, mostly). Incidentally, both TR4 Giza and TR5 Russia were within the responsibility of the guy called Joby. Maybe he just wasn’t that good with textures? ![]() Anyway, if this assessment holds water, it doesn’t really look like a rewarding undertaking, as I doubt that we’d be able to gather together a full set of original HQ Maria Doria textures, for example, or other sets which appear to have been created by Core themselves. Still, maybe we’re in for a surprise if we do make that concerted effort. ![]() For starters, here’s a zip with such files as I’ve come across (mostly in my early years of TRLEing, so some of the sources mentioned may have ceased to exist): https://www.sendspace.com/file/f55nv8 Do with it what you will! ![]() Last edited by Mulf; 16-01-18 at 13:15. |

Here are mine.
Missing the one horse tapestry but a HQ version is in the TR3 Croft Manor paintings thread. We're only missing the tiny pictures now. |

Here ya go guys - if anyone wants to use (or even edit) them.
Some 'beta' style textures for levels. Consists of a plain tile (with a cross section to show triangles better) A switch tile for walls A climbable ladder/monkeyswing texture. There are basic, and were used to inject into TR1-5 in order to observe the geometry of levels.. For use in TRLE - you can always add colours to them to match the TRLE colour palette (walls being green etc) You could also add icons for triggers, music and keys if you want? Here it is injected into TR2's Great Wall.. ![]() ![]() (Right Click and save this image, already in 64x64 format) PLEASE credit if you use these, Thanks ![]() |

Does someone have Crystal-like texture?
Crystal as in the material ![]() It would be nice to have a transition to Rough and Smooth(for underwater) surfaces.

It’s called a triglyph (doesn’t represent the Roman numeral III, although the philologists who named it obviously had the same association), and they alternate with metopes underneath the roof of Greek temples (outside TR, that is).
