Thanks. It's different from Venice, no canals here. A regular italian city.
If someone is from Pescara or close, please excuse me from butchering it.

Dxtre3d is a good tool, just it needs to be improved and updated.
I would have liked to see someone developing dxTre3d and upgrading it just to ask in the main thread.. "is it dead?".. bump? any news to report?

Joke aside,
I really like you your project arrriving to the end. And even taking a little more time to polish detailing here and there.
I feel we will have a very enjoyable game, plus an improved gameplay of Arsunt' latest features in the patch!

Thank you, it is worth it to spend extra time polishing some things. I'll probably not do something this long again, at least not in TR2.

Can't wait to produce level loading screens for the levels.
Speaking of which, i forgot to make one for Pescara.

Smile Loading screens yay!

Level 2 is 80% improved, now it only needs a texture revision. I'm going to try and use RView on the already textured level and see what happens, as only RView can do texturing that adjusts to grid lines. Useful for "natural" terrain such as rock/dirt faces.

The level is basically the same visually besides minor tweaks, so not going to post images because there are already some in the thread.
But i will reward you instead with the loading screens for levels 1 and 2:

--------------------------------------------
Update: I think i'm not going to do texturing in RView after all, i was trying it in level 2 and ugh, i'm NOT a fan of the deformations. For example, in the slide at the beginning, the wall textures get so distorted it looks awful, while in Dxtre the bricks are perfectly horizontal. Sorry if it disappoints some, but i don't like it at all. I will use the program for specific things like fly zones, but that's it. I will use partial textures in Dxtre instead...

Loading screen for level 3 done:

I love how the level is looking with the plants and rocks, and it all works perfectly thanks to the patch.
Around 20% done now.

Not saying what you're doing is bad, but these loading screens are a bit disappointing.

You could, for example, remove those black bars and have the level name look like TR2's "LOADING"

the way it is it looks like it's a 2 minute paint edit

I'm writing this because i know 100% you can do a much better job!
