Tomb Raider: Resident Evil
Story: This is a bit of an adaptation of Resident Evil, but obviously it's different. Lara was coming back home after a long mission in Nevada by a helicopter, but after just a hour the helicopter had to land because of an unusual stop of the motor, so Lara and her pilot go to search help. Just after some seconds a pack of strange dogs attacked Lara and the pilot. They were bloody-covered and in their chest you could see their bones. Their teeth were very sharp and a bite from one of them could kill. Lara drew her pistol, but then she realised she hadn't any bullet and a dog was chasing her! The pilot pointed at the dog and he shot killing it. But many other dogs were coming and Lara was still disarmed so the pilot screamed her to escape and searching for help and so she did. She started running before sliding, falling down and fainting. Meanwhile the pilot managed to kill all the dogs but when he tried to look for Lara a dog jumped on him on the back and it killed him. The game begins in the forest, after the attack of the pack of zombie dogs. Lara is disarmed and the pilot of her helicopter is dead. Now Lara's priority is to survive. Levels: The Forest 1 90% (I finished that but I'm probably gonna add something since it takes me five minutes) The Mansion 95% (I finished that, but I gotta polish the level that it's long, it takes me forty minutes, but I don't like it a lot yet) The Forest 2 99% (This is a little level that connect the Mansion with the Guardhouse, it takes me five minutes or more - because it is a boss battle) Under the Guardhouse 99% (My favourite level so far. It is finished and it takes me twenty-six minutes) The Guardhouse 10% (A lot WIP) The Caverns 1% (Just made some rooms) Screenshots: https://postimg.cc/image/8oaoy6icf "Main menu screen" https://postimg.cc/image/i8ubl0a8f "The Forest 1 load screen" https://postimg.cc/image/q1kzcz0rz "The Forest 1 screenshot of the pilot" https://postimg.cc/image/da6t6i90f "The Forest 1 screenshot of the cavern" https://postimg.cc/image/3pn6jlwj3 "The Mansion load screen" https://postimg.cc/image/asv1z7u8v "The Mansion dining room" https://postimg.cc/image/f1zs1ecxr "The Manison bedroom" https://postimg.cc/image/h6k52hma7 "The Forest 2 load screen" https://postimg.cc/image/n7htzj6bj "Under the Guardhouse loadscreen" Featuring: - The PLS! - Gameover Text - Cutscenes between almost every level (Not animated, just as Resident Evil flybys showed when you're entering in a room). - Special gameover cutscene (A Flyby level with written "You're DEAD") - A soundtrack played when Lara dies (Silent Hill 2 Game over sound if you're interested) - Music from: Various Resident Evil, Clock Tower (Man, I loved that game), Various TR, D2 and some sfx from SH 2 and 3 Hope you like, I'm creating this since December 2016 ... What do you think? You can see the screenshot right? I tried to make them visible, but it seems that bitmap files cannot work ... Last edited by Wolf 7; 15-04-18 at 07:16. |

The indoor areas look good, but outdoors need lighting improvement. There are many tutorials which can help you with that

Then, I actually knew I wasn't good at lighting. I actually try to take care of that and sometimes I get rooms with a really nice ambient of which I'm proud of, but I mostly get bad results and atmosphere look really pale or unrealistic. In the first level lighting ouside is around ... 90? More or less. And I mostly use lighting around 60 in the other levels. |

^ you should add a very dark ambience and light them up with actual lighting it gives a better effect
EDIT: I like to add coloured suns to add some good effect to both Lara and the rooms (so they don't seem washed out). try to explore it a bit Last edited by SrDanielPonces; 14-04-18 at 15:27. |
