How to set up human enemies in TR1 without them triggering level end like Larson does in Tomb of Qualopec, he dies without trigger in Sanctuary of the Scion, and how to make Pierre just die, instead of running away and disappearing, i want him to work just like in that last room of Tomb of Tihocan? Is there some bit flag combination or is it hardcoded?
I just want them to act like regular enemies. |

Hi Felix Croft!
The trigger for them has to be one shot / only once. Greetings! |

Thank You both, i'll experiment with that next time, my base level is "City of Vilcabamba" because i don't know how to get rid of unused textures from level file, that's why i'm always sticking to LEVEL 02 as my base. So i can't use Sanctuary of the Scion, or Tomb of Tihocan.
OK - It works like a charm! Everything's fine now. Thank You And also, is there any way to disable winged mutant projectile attack? I have some cool flying enemies that shouldn't be shooting at all. Last edited by Felix Kroft; 25-08-23 at 14:43. |

Pedro is right with Larson.. You can't edit shooting enemies, unless you are able to directly edit Tomb1Main and compile the engine. Good luck wit your project.

Ok, i know that this topic was mentioned somewhere around here before, but i just can't find it.
So, did anyone using DXTRE3D has actually managed to recreate that TR1 Scion pick-up animation from the pedestal? Some said it was hardcoded, but there must be some way to activate this. |

If I remember correctly dxtre grabs the camera frames data from the original .PHD file, so yeah it is hardcoded and you must use the Tomb of Qualopec or Sanctuary of Scion level as a base for it
With Tomb Editor you can create new frames using flyby cameras, but I know you're not using it because of the incompatibility with the PSX converter

I've already tried using Tomb of Qualopec.PHD on 4th level slot, and still nothing.
Most animations only require "Miscellanous Lara Animations" to be present from specific level to work, like if someone wants T-Rex to kill Lara via special jaw grab animation, Lara's animations from The Lost Valley must be transferred. But with this one specific Scion grab animation it isn't so simple. |
