I tried to download the old TREP+DRACO patches with the XP-patched tomb4 from http://trep.trlevel.de/en/downloads.html, the underwater patch works flawlessy. So it isn't a problem of my computer, graphic card, or directx.
Tried with FLEP again, re-downloaded the last version+patch file just to be sure, it is not working. Mind to share your already patched tomb4.exe? I may be doing something wrong. Thank you Last edited by Verner Fon Cro; 02-01-23 at 01:03. |

Maybe you can show the difference between the TREP and FLEP patches on a video? I think that's going to help much more than just asking a patched exe

This is the working patch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOSy4-9Pv0I
I used the TREP v. 0.76 rev. 5-rb+DRACO custom patches on the XP-patched tomb4.exe. The patch won't work unless I check AT LEAST those settings ------------------------------------------- This is the FLEP not working patch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXwNvRMczx4 I applied only the "turn on underwater waves" patch only, since the other two settings aren't here anymore. I can confirm that it's not working on the latest version. It definitely used to work in the past, so I'm not sure when and how it broke

I've noticed it not working for a while too, but as assets in the water do still have the wavy effect, I thought that was how it was supposed to be in this patch. Oops

I have the patch turned off but I think I started getting that wavy effect without wanting to at some point, it's really strange.

I want to stress out the fact that if I tick only the patch in TREP, the patch won't work there too. I need to tick also the "extend tr4 size" and the "remap scene memory", else it won't work. Maybe some code is shared between those three functions (?)
Anyway, thank you! |
