FLEP now comes with Plugin_FLEP. This new plugin will allow the creation of patches with less effort, as well as better integration with TRNG. Each patch will tell in the description which script commands are used and their goal.

New patches:
  • Disable mummy follow block
  • Fix Lara's elbows

"Fix Lara's elbows" fixes the bug where Lara's elbows would collapse when holding weapons or a flare. With this patch, reducing the details of her elbow mesh as a workaround is no longer required.



Don't forget to download the new Plugin_FLEP as per our last post:

  • Disable "Hang game thread" on lost focus
  • Save Turn Switch direction

  • Original bridges

I would like to know if "New patches: Add dynamic lighting to statics" means that I can light a static object with the aid of a light bulb. Will it be lighted in the same way as when I use a torch, flare or guns? If this is possible, would someone tell me how it's done?

how is this patch useful Vs the feature we have from Tomb Editor where it also lights statics?

Considering it doesn't merge statics with geometry it gives you ability to use MIPs on statics while still having good lighting. You can also still move statics with scripting with this applied. You won't reach vertex limit per room as quickly. TE doesn't allow that if you merge statics, since they become part of geometry.

Btw all these new patches are simply amazing. Frankly I didn't even know it's possible to fix lighting on statics.

What caesum said, also, shatters crash if you merge them into room geometry then shoot at them, this patch allows shatters to react to dynamic lights without the need to merge them
