What happened to the FINISHERS?
I thought I was just pressing the wrong button sequence, but as it turns out, Lara doesn't really have these anymore. Instead, it got replaced by the double axe to the head thingie, I think.
Was this deliberate? As well as removing blood? |

I guess they thought: less combat = no finishers.
I think they did wrong, maybe they could have condensed all of them in just one skill (there was one for each waepon in previous games) but they should have left them in the game. |

Some fan probably complained about it on here so EM listened and took them out.
That what EM did with shadow basically, listened and removed stuff fans whined about while adding stuff fans cried and begged for. Then the fans complained that EM removed the same things they complained about. Lol sad Last edited by Mr GaGa; 15-11-18 at 22:27. |

I'm fine without them. They make her look barbaric and are repetitive. I think they should've gotten rid of the axe one too but I guess they wanted to keep some of the old things. Hopefully she'll have better melee in the next game. I like no weapon finishers. Uppercuts or kicks.

I hate when devs do these things. If ain't broken don't change it.
Well, the worse could be them releasing the finishers as rewards for dlc challenge tombs. |

Well, they give a grenadier skill time. And I actually use it on a tree on kuwaq yaku, and for my surprise the tree moved and jiggled in all it's glory

EL OH EL. I hope they don't make the mistake of making little to no combat again. That was a huge complaint from buyers. |

I don't miss the finishers but I'm not happy about the blood censorship that came with the patch. It's a mature game and they should have handled it as such by giving us the option to chose for ourselves in the settings. (They even removed the bloodstain on the hailstone - why?)
Funny thing is, I don't mind a TR with little to no blood. And I wouldn't have complained, if the game was released this way. But I do mind after release changes in the form of unnecessary censorshipment. And vanilla SotTR (no patch installed) is as "bloody" as Rise. No more, no less.
