This person did a side to side comparison video of version 1.00 vs version 1.17. There are some other cool stuff they noticed and it’s an interesting video to watch, so many little details.

I tried to watch the whole thing, but that voice! I'm going to need to mute the video when I go back next to finish it.

Exactly! I saw that vid being shared on Twitter, and after 30 seconds the voice was way too annoying to continue

I watched the whole thing. (Thank god, I have two sisters, so I can ignore high pitched voices and concentrate on the music in the background.)

Since I've watched, I'd really like to know...why? What the toughts were behind it?

There are several objects, that are slightly rotated or just moved away a bit from their original space.
There are objects, that got recolored. The hard hats, for instance: in v1.0 they were yellow, grey in the final.
Why are they bothered to do small things, instead of focusing on bigger things.

Moving on:

-Intro cutscene is skipable (resulting in a long loading screen, that switches to the '2 days ago' screen, then that screen will be displayed, until the game loads
-extra object in the marketplace
-extra npc's at the marketplace
- different order of onscreen messages in v1.0
-if you skipped the intro, Lara will wear her tactical gear, not the explorer outfit
-oh that mighty blood
- if you won't skip the cutscene, where Lara picks her second axe, she will revert to explorer outfit
- if you skip the cutscene above, Lara will stay in her tactical gear
-Lara has her RoTR hair
-different waterfall
-different injure (not as deep as in the final) on Lara's leg
-only one axe is visible
- removed death animation
- mud on Lara is glitchy in:

When you progress to the last area before the tsunami, she'll slide down. Now, normally the game makes her clean, but if you reload the checkpoint, she's going to be as muddy as she was in the first Jaguar encounter

-removed death animation (at least it never happened to me) where Lara has to grab the other cover of the window
-several texts are different. (I take this with a pinch of salt, since nothing was in english in the video)
- in the early combat section if you were stealthy, then the lamps are going to switch off (so you can finish the last two mercs that blocking the path)
-if you were caught, they'll stay on
-mentiones the knife getting pulled out of the back, instead of hips
-mentiones missing gears in cutscenes/ or squeezing gaps
-different stacthel
-mud cloud emerges, when Lara gets a survival cache underwater (looked cool btw)
-shortcut in the tomb
-standing statue in the tomb (in the final it's fallen and half covered with rocks and dirt)
-missing tutorial message

That's all I can remember...you guys really have to check it out. It covers Cozumel only, and promised to move on the the peruvian jungle...

First time playing with the frame mode on. These are my times:

- 4 hours and 30 minutes, from the beginning up to the start of Paititi.
- 5 hours and 30 minutes in Paititi. Of those, 50 minutes were spent in Cenote.
- 40 minutes in the Porvenir Oil Fields.

And that's it. I just got to San Juan I've picked every collectible on the way, except for those inside tombs and their paths as I am avoiding these (partly to see how the game stands on its own without the optional content).

I haven't backtracked to Cozumel, Peruvian Jungle or Kuwaq Yaku to obtain the collectibles that require the shotgun or lockpick.

How do you know how long you've played on the PS4? I have no idea how long I've played. I know Steam lets you know, but I don't have that version.

You can enable the Frame option.

It displays your time, collectibles and percentage of completion during all your playthrough (as long as it's enabled).

It doesn't tell you how much time you spent in each area. I just checked the clock in each "milestone".

Let's pretend I don't know what you're talking about...how do I do that?

Ohhh, I don't remember where it is exactly, but it's an option in the game's menu. Rise also had it (I'm not sure if TR2013 does too).

I'd have to get home and check to tell you the exact route to the option
