The Audio Mod can't extract the isolated music from the FMV, since the FMV doesn't contain multiple tracks. Only one final mix.

Putai's lesson was also released by Peter Connelly years ago, together with all the other recordings. They also got remastered as a 5.1 Dolby Digital mix.

Could it be, that the oboe from the chase scene was just the first two notes from OG Tomb Raider theme music?

Wow this is a big revelation for me! I was assuming that the original FMV music tracks were lying around somewhere on AOD's game folders and the Definitive Edition people had found them.

I've been comparing both audios of the oboe, I think I hear what you're saying but it's very subtle.

I haven't compared this but I’m glad you discovered it.

I've compared the audios and I could hear the differences! It beats me how you noticed these small details

You can find it on the "Tomb Raider Modding" section of this forum, Gh0stBlade released it on a thread there. It's a new audio mod that enabled RebornInShadow to add audios to his Restoration Project

Yes, this was originally released on SoundCloud right? I think all his music there was removed ages ago, I'd love to have that music file

That's new for me, where can I find this?

It's possible but the 4-note oboe melody on the FMV is not the same as the OG theme; the fourth note is different
