Just watched a marathon of “Halloween” movies on TV. Some not as scary as the first time watching, some are boring but, some still give you a scare.

Rebecca (2020), Lily James, Armie Hammer, Kristin Scott Thomas. I enjoyed it. Lily James does well as Mrs De Winter, timid and naive at first who grows in confidence as she battles the memory of Rebecca. KST was suitably cold and intimidating as Mrs Danvers.

Apparently critics are slating it, but I thought it was really good, with breathtaking locations, and compelling characters.

Anthropophagus, AKA The Grim Reaper. This was a fairly routine slasher film made memorable by two or three exceptionally gross scenes.

Not in a day, every day one.
Im past the point where i can handle watching several movies in one go back to back.

And Horror as much as love the genre, can become really dull if you dont take breaks.
So i go with one horror movie the day over the whole October.

Which was the scariest? What will you save for Halloween, October 31st.?

Note: Not Halloween related, but one of the scariest at the time and maybe now was Black Christmas.

Personally i would say Michael Bays Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the scariest of those i watched this year so far.
It has a incredible Atmosphere and mood.
Terrifier is really messing with me every time i watch it, but it lacks the feeling i would consider "scary".

October 31st probably goes to Trick R Treat or the Original Halloween...they deserve that special place.

Havent watched Black Christmas in quite some time, you just gave me the idea what i could watch over the next week.
