Well here is the good word, supernatural elements will return in the Tomb Raider reboot movie sequel.

Thank the Lord

Edit

Than again they specifically say trippy elements. Could they be referring to baba haha?

Yeah someone shared this article before. I dunno. I’d want a better source than this.
I’d love for the return of supernatural elements.

But I’ll wait until I see a trailer or literally the director himself saying it.

I would not underestimate any source. I remember that article of a random Russian web where they said they had read the script of the movie ... and it was true. That article is from a random website but they claim to have "a source", it may be true, it may be false. But I would not deny it.

Well, I guess I’m just a skeptic then.

This website has got some stories correct and a lot of others wrong. It's literally a 50/50 chance I usually don't believe in fansites and wait for legitimate trade reports like Hollywood Reporter, Variety or Deadline,

I could definitely see the Baba Yaga short story being entwined into the next movie... Having seen some of his films now, I think Ben would be a great director at showing "trippy" scenes showing the effects of a "pollen" in the forest...

What's interesting is how Baba Yaga is actually described on Wiki, compared to how the folk tale it was used in the game. It could very well bring in Russian audiences.

I'd love to see Tomb Raider as a horror film. I'd be all for having Baba Yaga on screen.

The new Frozen film has a character that's very like Sofia and a similar arc as hers I think more warrior leader women's on screen could be great especially with having Ana in the franchise controlling Trinity too.

Idk, female character centric films seem to be flop city atm, I think they should have dual male and female villains (Like the game) and have Sophia in a minor role maybe.

I don't want Baba Yaga and surreal things ... I want a fun action adventure with TR spirit. Something like TR 2001 but smart.
