I never knew that the first Angie had cut content! Do we know what they are collectively?
That scene is in the movie though...

Also Rai no one blames you. I just watched the trailer for Morbias and it looks absolutely awful.

No. It’ll flop.

Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Tom Holland... an adventure movie, at Christmas ... It could even do the Jumanji numbers.

It all depends on the trailer and how the movie looks.

It has larger names than Tomb Raider and will probably have a more mass appeal type comedy tone like Jumanji or the marvel films, I can see it doing well and hope it succeeds so we get more adventure films. I don't think it's going to be a huge success but I do think it will do well for what it's aiming for and warrant a sequel.

I don't think Tomb Raider would benefit from that sort of tone though in my opinion it should keep the seriousness of the first to set itself apart from other similar franchises. Also I'd prefer for now that Tomb Raider was a summer release because I'm not sure he film industry is going to get back up and running properly until Autumn with the social distancing measures that the UK will most likely have in place until Sep/Oct time.

I don’t believe actors sell a movie. At all.

Some cases this is true I think it's largely US audience that put more emphasis on their actors but if you look at how many crappy movies Melissa McCarthy and The Rock has been in that have been successful it must account for something. People largely just go to those films regardless because they want to see a new film fronted by them because they're mainstream actors.

Named directors play into this film methodology too how many people go see a film just because it was directed by Nolan, Tarantino, Scorsese and Spielberg.

The calendar now is:

16th or 23rd April would be a good move based on this calender or mid August.
