Probably still kept someone on a few harddrives over at Eidos and a few people who worked on the game, not that it's of any use though.

There was a staff member called Dan who had AoD data on a HDD said that it broke and won't work anymore.

Well, he could share it nontheless, maybe we can figure something out? If they still had the project data for the levels, made with whatever program, we could fix the glitches perhaps.

I think he means his HDD is broken. Recovering data from such HDD costs a bit of money.

Still, I could pay a lot for having that data recovered.

Yeah, if you read the comments on this post, Dan Scott (Former Employee) said "I did have the entire source code on a HD, that fell to the floor and now makes the "click of death"

https://www.facebook.com/traodRengin...17649271594070

But I wouldn't mind paying him to get that data back either

I really hope that wasn't the only copy of the source code.

IIRC he specifically says "she" so it can't be Rouzic. He probably really is talking about Boaz so he either wasn't supposed to be there or the order of the rooms was changed.

OMG! We should collect the money to try and get it repaired and send it to him. Imagine what some of the people in the fanbase would be able to do with the source code ! Not that he'd be allowed to give it to us even if it could be salvaged .

My heart just dropped to the floor but if the code got recovered i doubt he would just be able to give it to us

Well, we could steal it >: )
In any case, it was his HD, so I don't see why he couldn't spare it to the community. And he is a former employee... Someone get him on the line!
