Default Meta2tr - edit TR4 rooms in MetaSequoia

META2TR is freeware. It extracts 3D files from TR4 levels, which can be enhanced in Metasequoia or other 3D software, then re-imported back into the TR4 level. It is compatible with TRLE, TREP and NGLE.

Update: I am closing my site because it's out of date and I don't have time to maintain it. If you need help, please take a look at the demo level download below or check out the forums here. I am also removing links to older versions to avoid confusion.

Here are the latest versions of everything:
meta2tr_v8a.zip
meta2tr_v8.zip
floor2prj_v3a.zip

Demo levels:
meta2tr_v7e_+_demo_levels.zip
Includes all the files (project, wad, Metasequoia files). The level has pop-up text and a guide showing how key features were built.

Happy editing

its nice, but its not like you can add statics with full collison to the rooms. it just keeps the same collision. but i do like the spraypaint thing. just like in legend/anniversary.

Great tool I haven't tried it yet, but am I right in guessing this only affects .tr4 files, not prj files?

Yep. Through Room Viewer, but as said it's quite difficult to do, and it doesn't take textures with it either.
