Argh I apologise. Please rename tombati easy.exe back to tombati.exe once you put it in your folder. Please backup your original.

I'd love to see some speedrunners give this a go. I've designed Lara to give more damage than usual. I won't say how much, but it's obvious.

I've provided a level1.phd and save0.ati (I suggest you load this first ingame) to see the game on an enemy straight up.

I quite like playing with it anyway - especially through atlantis this is purely for fun!

Ahh fair enough. Well even for just us for sport, it shaves off a few seconds here and there - I made it obvious so no one could actually try and submit it as a speedrun ��

could you do the opposite and make it harder. maybe one half damage and one quarter damage for the weapons? or maybe even an eighth only

Heartache - I wish I could do that for you, especially the 1/8th.

However, original Damage for each weapon starts at 1. Pistols are 1, Uzi's are 1, Magnums are 2 and Shotgun is 4. I don't think you can type negatives in hex..nor would it work if you could.

The best I can do for you is setting each weapon's damage to 1, the lowest possible that I know of. Each weapon is worth 1 pistol shot.

I wish I was better at this! I'd try and find enemy health values etc

Anyway, try out tombati HARD

Have you tested my difficult attempt? I started up tr1 the other day and thought damn why are these enemies taking so long to die. Forgot to restore it

I haven't yet.

what I know is that enemies are more difficult to kill in the new game+ modes of the classics. you get unlimited ammo but enemies are a more robust and take more shots before they die. does somebody know how that works?


edit:

after trying out some stuff in tr1 just now, I found out that harder enemies and unlimited ammo are kinda linked together somehow. if you activate unlimited ammo via new game+ or an editor enemies will get double the health starting the next level. same happens the other way around. deactivate unlimited ammo and enemies HP return back to normal starting the next level.

I though I found a way to get a hard mode by starting a new game+ and then editing out the weapons and unlimited ammo, but my dreams were shattered once the second level started
